Hey There… I had a frightfully fun time putting this project together.
Supplies: Orange Hand Towels (I picked up mine for $2.78 apiece on clearance at Target). Avery T-Shirt Transfer paper, Fabri Tac, Canvas, Ribbon, Sewing Machine with a 'Denim" needle, an iron and your favorite Halloween Clip Art. I used some free images from The Graphics Fairy.
I found four vertical graphics I really liked and printed them out at 4 x 6.
Print your image onto the the T-Shirt Transfer paper. Follow the directions on the Avery package to transfer it to the canvas. Cut it out, leaving a 1/2 inch or so border around the picture.
Pin it to the towel for placement and for sewing.
Sew the image onto the towel.
To get a frayed look, gently pull the loose threads from the edges.
Here's what the towels looked like with the spooky pictures.
Next step– use the Fabri Tac to glue the ribbon trim down.
Voila! Cute Halloween Handtowels
Thanks, Graphics Fairy! Linking up to these parties.

I have a bit of insomnia tonight (this morning), so I’m traveling through blog land and I’m loving these towels! What a great idea, and fairly simple to do. Great job!

These are darling. I don’t even own a sewing machine, so if it requires stitching…it is over my head! I love the pumpkin!
