Halloween Marshmallow Jewelry

It's a spooky-sweet project for kids of all ages: Halloween Marshmallow Jewelry

Cn1

Supplies: Wilton Color Mist and black Food Writer Pen (available at big-box craft stores and shops that sell baking supplies), large marshmallows, thin black licorice, Pam Cooking Spray and a metal skewer.

Cn2

Spray the marshmallows. Much like "real" spray paint, you can get a good result if you set them on a papertowel and use a cardboard box when spraying to keep the color contained.

Cn3

Give the color an hour to set. Sketch features with the black pen.

Cn4

And fill in.

Cn5

It's like carving a pumpkin except MUCH easier.

Cn6

For the monster, make the "scar"

Cn7

Then the face.

Cn8

4 little pumpkins

Cn9

And four little monsters. Next pop the marshmallows into the freezer for three or more hours. This makes them much easier to sting licorice through. To string licorice, spray a metal skewer with Pam. Pierce the marshmallow then gently string the licorice through.

Cn11

It's easy to make bracelets and necklaces. Mr Pumpkin and…

Cn12

Mr. Monster may be cute to frighten anyone. But they sure are fun!
