Paper Straws are fun and festive and add the finishing touch to a party. For a while I have been thinking about the best way to keep them organized and within reach…
Washi Tape Straw Organization - Yesterday on Tuesday #washi
The best part is that it’s free!

Supplies: Soda bottle carrier, two patterned rolls of washi tape, 4 sheets of white Duck Tape paper, letter stickers to spell “straws,” and straws of course (mine are from Pick Your Plum.)

Cut the Duck Tape paper into these sizes 7 1/2 x 5 1/4 inches (2 of them), 5 1/2 x 5 inches (2 of them) and 7 x 2 1/2 inches (2 of them). Using white Duck Tape on the carrier “blanks” out the images, lettting the washi shine!

Stick the washi tape on the Duck Tape, alternating patterns. Let it hang over the side a bit, then trim.

Then tape back of Duck Tape and stick it to the corresponding spot on the carrier.

If you have a little part that hangs over (like the Henry Winehard picture, just trim it off.

Do the four sides and the handle.

Add some stickers spelling “straws” if you like.

And enjoy a little FREE straw organization. Yay!

Good tip to use duck tape paper, self adhesive and prevents the images on the box from showing through. Super cute Malia, now I need to order more cute straws to fill mine up. I’ve only got two packages, nice excuse to shop for more isn’t it :)

I don’t know what’s prettier, the straws or the straw holder, so cute!
