Simple Citrus Scrub - Yesterday on Tuesday #scrub #citrusscrub

I hope you are all having a relaxing last few days of 2012. My family and I went on a little vacation and pretty much the second we arrived at our destination– I got the flu. It's the nasty kind… fevers and chills, full on red nose (hello Rudolph), watery eyes… can't stop sneezin' and wheezin' flu.

I spent the first day inside alone but have been dragging myself out lately, determined not to let the darn flu ruin our family time. What I wish I had on hand right now is some of this Simple Citrus Scrub… and my own bathtub.

Ingredients

 1 cup sea salt

1/2 cup grapeseed oil

oh no Malia, I hope you get better real soon. What a cute scrub.
I love essential oils. For flu and colds, we call it a magic bath – 2 cups epsom salts, 10 drops eucalyptus oil 5 drops rosemary in warm bath water – soak as long as possible. I wish you could take one right now. My kids love it when they start to feel bad.
    Happy New Year!!!

Hope you are feeling better! I can’t live without my saline nasal rinse when I have a cold or flu, it makes sickness so much easier. Best to you!

I bet this smells amazing! I’ve used a similar recipe for making sugar scrub before, but I really love the look of the larger salt crystals in yours – pretty!
