Lollipop Cupcakes
Here’s a sweet treat for St. Patrick’s Day or any time… Lollipop Cupcakes! Simple to make and SO cute! Chocolate Cake Mix and Frosting, spearmint gum, green licorice, tootsie pops, oreos and green cupcake liners ($1 bin at Michael’s) Make the cupcakes and frost them. Grind/smoosh the oreos into crumbs and dip the cupcakes into them (you’re going for a “dirt” look) Cut a piece of licorice the length of the tootsie pop stick To make the leaves, cut a piece of gum in half with kitchen scissors and then round them off. Supplies: plastic clothes line from the Dollar Store, fabric, Heat n Bond, 5 white doilies ($1 at Michael's), Rit Dye (I used Lemon Yellow, Fuchsia Sunshine Orange), pinking shears, hot glue, bowls for tracing circles, different colors of felt. *Note: I used a total of 9 large circle shapes for the banner (5 doilies, 2 fabric circles and 2 felt circles) Follow the directions on the Heat n Bond package and iron the Heat n Bond on the wrong side of the fabric.
