Project Inspire{d} #167

Hi Friends, welcome to Project Inspire{d}!

Project-Inspired-Graphic-1

I have been on a bit of a blogging break. My son Max celebrated his Bar Mitzvah last weekend. It was such a joyful day and night. My family and I are still processing everything.

Fam

We had loved ones fly in from California, Georgia and Florida for the big day. My parents and Neal’s Mom were there, along with our siblings and their families. We were also blessed to have our cousins, their kids, and friends from all stages of our lives from college days to friends we have met through our kids there.

Max has been learning Hebrew and studying the Torah for years and this was the culmination of all his hard work (it’s been 6+ hours a week since September). It has been a big undertaking for Max and for all of us. He led the service on Saturday morning for nearly two hours– much of it in Hebrew.

He was so poised and confident. We knew he had been working hard for this day but he exceeded our expectations. It was a very proud moment for us.

That evening we had a big party to celebrate, and our friends and family were there to help! Max had a ton of pals there, including some he met in preschool. Highlights included my daughter surprising her brother by singing him a song. The kids played games, danced (we all danced!) and ate. It was an amazing experience.

But back to the craft world… here’s what I’ve been working on:

Seven Super Baseball Projects including DIY jewelry ideas, signs, a tee shirt and more.
