Fun Day Monday: Valentine’s Day Craft

Have you ever been the lucky recipient of a Cookie Bouquet?  Something like this?  When all that's left is a pile of crumbs and some plastic… STOP yourself from tossing it.

Here's what I made last Valentine's Day (forgive me for the horrid photos please)!

Turns out that plastic stuff is super easy to paint. My base was a generic vanilla color and I painted it with red acrylic paint (2 coats).  Then I used Martha Stewart glitter to give it a little sparkle.

The paper is by Teresa Collins.  The crocheted flowers, heart buttons, ribbons and pins are from Fancy Pants. The cute tickets and paper clips are Making Memories.
