Hi There! What's better after a long day at school or work that a cold glass of milk and some chocolate chip cookies? Nothing!
1 Cup of Butter
2 Cups of Flour
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Sugar
1 extra-large Egg
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
1 1/3 Cups Cups Chocolate Chips
1 Cup Sweetened Shredded Coconut
1)Melt the Butter and let it cool off
2)Combine the flour, salt and baking soda in a medium mixing bowl
3)Pour the butter into the bowl. Add the brown sugar, white sugar, egg and vanilla. Mix well.
4)Beat the flour mixture by hand. When it's totally combined, add the coconut
5)Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for 30 minutes
6)Preheat the over to 350 degrees and cover baking sheets with parchment paper
7)Drop tablespoonfuls of the chilled dough onto the baking sheets, leaving about an inch between them
8)Bake for 12-14 minutes
9)Let cookies cool on a wire rack
See you tomorrow for a chit chat with Amanda and Jen from Kind Over Matter. This wonderful (free) printable is just an example of the kind of good stuff they are dishing up over there. More tomorrow!
