Here's an idea for all those thin cardboard boxes:

DIY Postcards 1Supplies: Upcycled cereal boxes, strong scissors, a ruler, white acrylic paint, paintbrush, thick and thin black Sharpies and colored marking pens

DIY Postcards2Measure and cut the cardboard to 4 x 6 rectangles

DIY Postcards 3Paint both sides of the cardboard white (it might take a few coats). You can also enjoy a lollipop while you're doing this.

DIY Postcards 4

Let it completely dry

DIY Postcards 5Draw a picture on one side with a Sharpie

DIY Postcards 6  Then color in with marking pens

DIY Postcards 7Here's the boy's version…

DIY Postcards 8Of his new BFF, Beans the dog

DIY MDraw a line dividing the card in half on the back with room for a stamp (29 cents for postcards) and address.

You've got mail— and one of a kind postcard art.

This is a great idea. I knew there had a to be another use for that cereal box as I was throwing it in the trash this morning. I also like how you have all of your party linkups listed. Is there a way you entered them once, then were able to save them to post with each new entry? Thanks.
