If you're ever in a "jam" for frosting… try this!

Strawberryjamfrosting

Strawberry Jam Frosting

1 stick (1/2 cup) of butter, softened

1 cup of powdered sugar

4 tablespoons of strawberry jam

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Mix the butter, powdered sugar and vanilla. Add the jam. Frosts 2 dozen cupcakes.

Yum!

I love this idea! And I always have strawberry jam on hand, so this is perfect. :)

If you want to go crazy – cut the jam in half and add equal parts matcha powder. I did that for some matcha cupcakes I made and it was fantastic.
