Apple Stamped Pencil Pouches

The kidlets will love making their own Apple Stamped Pencil Pouches for back to school! It's nice to have a craft the young ones can do and get a great result.

Apple Stamped Pencil Pouches

Supplies: Canvas pencil pouches ($1 bin at craft stores), a small apple, furniture pads (you know, those little dots you put on the bottom of chair legs), Crafters Pick glue, googly eyes, puffy paint, Martha Stewart Multi-Surface paint.

Cut the apple in half (grown-up job) and paint red.

Kids can do this part–stamp the apple on to the canvas pouch, applying firm pressure.

After it dries, kids can create the leaves with puffy paint.

When the puffy paint has set, apply the glue to the back of the googly eyes (a plastic toothpick works well).

  1. These are so bright and cheery! I love the shape the apple, and I love the fact that when I make this for myself I get to eat the other half of the apple. Thanks for posting at FPTFY!
