 {Iced Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Donuts}

Iced Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Donuts

Delicious Iced Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Donuts
Ingredients
  • 2½ cups cake flour sifted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 eggs lightly beaten
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup of canned pumpkin
  • 1/2 cup mini semi sweet chocolate chips
  • doughnut pan
  • orange cookie icing
  • sprinkles
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  2. Spray doughnut pan with non-stick cooking spray
  3. In a large mixing bowl, sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and cinnamon
  4. Add buttermilk, eggs and butter and stir until just combined
  5. Mix in pumpkin and chocolate chips
  6. Fill each doughnut cup approximately ½ way full
  7. Bake 15 minutes or until the top of the doughnuts spring back
  8. Run a butter knife along the rim to pop the doughnuts out
  9. Finish with glaze and sprinkles
