Giveaway: Peas and Thank You Cookbook

PeasandThankYou standing book
Attorney turned stay-at-home mom Sarah Matheny "Mama Pea" took a fun approach when it came to naming her blog (and later book). She wanted a phrase that captured the notion that as a parent, teaching kids about nutritious food should be as basic as teaching them manners. Since we parents encourage our kids to say "Please and Thank You," the title "Peas and Thank You" made sense. Packed with creative ideas for meat-free meals, the blog struck a chord with readers.

Many posts later, "Peas and Thank You" the cookbook was born. This collection of more than 85 fun and healthy vegetarian recipes has it all– from wholesome breakfasts to mouth-watering desserts… and the best part is… the dishes are delicious. Here's a yummy mock-tail recipe that's also a great way to eat your spinach!

  1. Thank you for another chance at a give-away! I’m with MaryAnn, fall = pumpkin for me! We also enjoy homemade cream of potato soup. It’s a recipe from my great-grandmother, so it’s always been a hit with my family.

  2. I follow your blog. Every fall I look forward to the different winter squash that are only in the market this time of year. I love to bake it and add brown sugar, butter, and walnuts. That’s obviously not the healthiest way to eat it, but since I only have this a few times a year, maybe it’s not that bad.

  3. oh, that Margarita smoothie looks yummy! I love anything with spinach! I’ve never bought coconut milk, will have to look for that next time I shop!
One of my favorite fall dishes is apple dumplings, I’m so looking forward to making some soon!
    take care Malia,
    hugs
