Pinterest Party: My Very Educated Mother
Hi! My name is Cyn and I blog over at Creative Cynchronicity, a lifestyle blog with lots of recipes, crafts, family fun, and more. I’m thrilled to pieces to be sharing this post with you for Pinterest Feature Friday because Pinterest is my all-time favorite social media platform (and I’m a social media junkie!). I’d love for you to come hang out with me on Pinterest!
For the featured pinner this week, I chose Erin of My Very Educated Mother. Erin is always sharing great ideas on her Pinterest page, giving me lots of inspiration for repinning! Erin has 72 boards with 2051 pins so there’s all kinds of fun and creative goodness there!
One of my favorite boards on Erin’s Pinterest page is her Kids’ Crafts board. Need to keep the kids busy? Find a gift for them to make? A craft to celebrate a holiday? Erin’s got you covered!
I love to cook so Erin’s In the Kitchen board is another hit for me! From fun and creative foods to delight the child in all of us to healthy recipes and sweet treats, there’s something to delight every foodie.
I could peruse the pins on Erin’s For My Dream Home board for hours. So much eye candy and inspiration for home makeovers big and small!
Erin’s Clever Things board is aptly named with items pinned on it that just make you want to say,” how clever”, or as Erin points out, “Why didn’t I think of that?”. You’ll find all kinds of handy dandy ideas here to simplify your life – or at least make it cooler!
Here are some of the pins on Erin’s boards that had me swooning!
Remember I mentioned eye candy? Check out that amazing backdrop she pinned from 100 Layer Cake! My daughter is getting married next year and I can so picture this for the wedding. It would be so beautiful as a place to take photos wouldn’t it? I can even see it being amazing serving as a sort of headboard behind my bed too.
Here’s another pinned project I fell in love with. Once again, these gorgeous big flowers from Design Sponge would be perfect for my daughter’s flower themed wedding but I can also imagine them making fantastic party decorations (what about an Alice in Wonderland theme?), being great for a photo shoot, or looking fabulous standing in the corner of my living room next to the fireplace.
I. Want. This. Seriously, isn’t this DIY bubble chandelier that Erin pinned incredible? She found it on Twig Decor and it sure does have that WOW factor, doesn’t it? I haven’t figured out just where it’s going yet, but I’m determined to find a spot for this beauty.
Ok so you may be wondering about this one after the pretty girlie stuff I’ve shown you so far. But my daughter and I are HUGE Muppets fans, so when I saw this pin on Erin’s boards, I literally squealed with delight – and then of course immediately repinned it! This cute project comes from Entirely Emily and it’s a great example of the fun pins you can find over on Erin’s Pinterest page. Thank you so much Michele, Bev, and Malia for allowing me to share Erin’s fun and inspiring Pinterest boards. I hope you all enjoyed them as much as I do and please, come on over to Creative Cynchronicity and visit me sometime!
