Distressed Mossy Pots
Distressed Mossy Pots
Distressed Mossy Pots are an easy and fab upgrade. If you have some extra terra cotta flower pots, you can transform them in no time. Each spring it seems like I get a bunch of pots as I plant stuff outside… and I never want to toss them out! There are just too many great things you can do with them. Here’s my new favorite.
There are so many holidays and occasions coming up that you could use these for including May Day, Teacher Appreciation Day, Mother’s Day and Graduation.
Supplies
Pots
White Paint and Black Paint
Moss
Chalkboard Labels
Toothpick
Hot Glue
Instructions
1. Paint the pots white
2. Using a bristle paintbrush to paint the rim black and run the paintbrush along the sides of the pot.
3. After the paint dries, add some moss with hot glue. If your mossy is too MOSSY, you can trim it with kitchen scissors.
3. Plant flowers in the pots.
4. Fold a chalkboard label in half around the toothpick. Write a number on the label.
5. Enjoy!
