Spring Cloches
Spring Cloches
Capture some of the beauty of the season with pretty Spring Cloches!
As as I was tidying up my home recently, I noticed something interesting. I seem to have quite a few cloches. Many of them came with a wooden circle for the bottom (for cheese). I had a couple teeny ones too, probably from the thrift store or garage sales.
Then a little lightbulb went off. I’ve been collecting mismatched china cups and saucers for years (they are perfect for little girls’ tea parties).
I thought pairing the cloches with the saucers would make for a lovely springtime display! After I gathered up the cloches and saucers, I grabbed any springy stuff I had– eggs, bunnies, chickies and nests placed them on the saucers.
A little chickie and a tiny basket of jellybeans…
So darling!
This swirly painted plate is an easy project too. Here’s a link to the very easy instructions. Already a fun plate, I also added a bunny, a nest and some speckled eggs…
Lovely under glass.
This little chick is resting on a real bird’s nest…
You can almost hear him chirping!
This tiny trio is ready for breakfast…
Malted candy eggs work perfectly.
And last but not least, this sweet birdie looks ready to welcome spring…
Happy Spring!
