All these ideas are easy to do … or better yet HELP your kid with.

Mason Jar Teacher Gift

“Strawberry” Mason Jar

Materials: For the jar: mason jar with handle, brushed metal lid, wooden knob, green acrylic paint, half pearl gems, Sixlets red chocolate candy balls and craft glue. For the tag: red vinyl or card stock, green card stock, scissors.

Instructions:

1. Paint the lid and wooden know green, set aside.

2. Fill the jar with candy and place pearl stickers on jar.

3. Glue knob to lid.

5. Cut strawberry shapes from card stock and glue together. Write a message “For a BERRY special teacher.”

Teacher Name Plate Sign

Chalkboard Name Sign

Materials: small piece of wood, black acrylic paint, small wooden stand, wooden letters, stickers and craft glue.

Directions: Paint the wood black, glue letters on and then add stickers.

Tote Bag Teacher Gift

No Sew Apple Tote Bag

Materials: Tote Bag, Tulip Iron on Transfer Sheet, the die cut center at Ben Franklin, green ribbon and craft glue.

Directions: Purchase the transfer sheet and use the die cuts at Ben Franklin for free when you show them your receipt. I used the apple die cut. Follow package directions to iron the apples onto the bag. Measure a piece of ribbon for the top of the bag, and glue it on.

DIY Stamped Metal Necklace

Metal Stamped Necklace

Materials: Impress Art Basic Metal Stamps (these are uppercase) plus a heart metal stamp, jewelry hammer, metal square and cork mat, metal discs (to stamp on), a cord, jump ring, metal punch and other charms if desired. A pair of jewelry pliers is also useful.

1. Center and stamp letters on disc, using hammer on metal block. Add heart.

2. Punch hole in top and add jump ring.

3. Add to cord along with other charms.

Materials: Wood “tag” sign, vinyl saying and acrylic paint.

Directions: Paint sign and let dry. Add vinyl.

DIY Book Hook

Materials: Metal hook, charms, jump rings, jewelry pliers.

Directions: Use jump rings to attach charms to book hook.

Teacher Gift

A+ Teacher Cup

Materials: Plastic cup and vinyl

Directions: Add the vinyl to the cup.

Teacher Photo Frame

World’s Best Teacher Frame

Materials: wood frame, acrylic paint and vinyl.

Directions: Paint frame and let it dry. Add vinyl.
