Mother’s Day is coming up and no matter how you old you are… your mom loves a homemade gift! It’s super simple to make her a batch of bath salts and package them in a pint sized mason jar with a tea light holder. That way mom can keep it next to her bathtub and enjoy the glow of a relaxing tea light as she soaks in the relaxing bath. What mom wouldn’t love that?
The recipe makes exactly one pint of lavender bath salts… enough to perfectly fill up a pint sized Ball Canning Mason Jar.
Lovely Lavender Bath Salts Recipe
Supplies: pint sized mason jar, tea light holder metal insert (both from Mason Jar Lifestyle), coarse sea salt, epsom salt, baking soda, lavender essential oil, baker’s twine and printable tags.
In a large bowl, mix: 3/4 cup coarse sea salt; 3/4 cup epsom salt and 1/4 cup baking soda.
Add a few drops of lavender essential oil and combine.
Place a tea light in the tea light holder.
Grab these tags!
Just download, save to your computer, download and print: Lovely Lavender Bath Salts Tags.
Add the tag with a little piece of baker’s twine.
