Got little gobblers at home? This is an easy project for the kiddos.

Thanksgiving Treats

I so look forward to Thanksgiving each year. As my kids get older, one of my favorite things is getting them more involved in this special holiday. My son and I spent hours in the kitchen this weekend– in hopes of making a cool kid-friendly treat. We were armed with all kinds of candy and crackers to experiment with (and had quite a few “turkeys” LOL) but here’s what worked for us:
Turkey Cookies - Yesterday on Tuesday #thanksgiving #turkey
Instructions: Following package instructions, melt chocolate. Dip Oreos in melted chocolate and place on peanut butter cookies. Add eyes and candy corn nose. While chocolate is setting, use yellow writing frosting to stick Mike and Ikes to cookie. After choclate sets, use red writing frosting to add the waddle.
