Thrifty Tuesday: Vintage Books + More
I can't pass up a fun vintage book or other paper goodness…
I picked this up for my sweet friend Ann. A WONDERFUL elementary school Librarian…
A vintage Baby Shower Games Book in perfect condition… two kids later I still couldn't answer many of these questions. Dimensions of a Diaper?
Sew fun paging through this book…
Was I ever happy to see this old friend in a Value Village store– a copy of my childhood dictionary. GEEK Alert– I used to read it for fun.
Love the illustrations too. See you tomorrow for Yummy Wednesday. I think something sweet may be involved.
Totally loving your thrifty finds! I love the vintage baby shower games and the page of “M”! <333
What great vintage finds! I love the sweethearts of lit poster and the dictionary.
Those are some fantastic finds! I love it.
I’m SO wanting the sewing book … love ~ love ~ LOVE
the tips for basic / casual dress … why am I so drawn
to that style of drawings?? Great stuff … very envious!
Really like your blog / writing / pictures / style … I’ll be back :o}
Thank you for the tutorial-love … come back soon ~j.
Malia, I’m finally following you after several attempts. Thanks for visiting my blog and following me. Interesting vintage things you have here. I’ll be back…although finding the place to comment was also a little tricky. Guess I’m not use to wordpad. Smiles.
Hey Mal, Thanks so much for the special library gift. Perfect addition to our new-very old interim school I’ll be at next year. I wonder what the 2010 version lit love will be- Hermione & Harry, Wall-E & Ava, Frog & Toad. :)
I love vintage illustrations in books and school stuff. I have a set of vintage math posters left by the teacher I replaced at my first teaching job. I am planning on hanging some of them up in the house.
I was following you, I think I may be following you twice now? Not sure. It seemed a little confusing. Anyway…I will grab your button and would be thrilled if you would do the same!
First…I love this post! I’ve been so out of sorts with the end of the school year the last few weeks, I have not been able to explore blogs the way I want too, but I can’t wait to come back and see what all has been going on here, AND I had to look a little while I came to comment really quickly and say….
I got my cookbook!!!! Oh my goodness! I’m soooo, soooooo, soooooooo excited! I’m dying to post about it! I’m about to head out of town, but as soon as I get back I’ll take pics and create links! Thanks again, I do believe it’s my favorite ‘why I love blogging’ story to date. ;o)
