My Fam on ABC News
I'm interrupting my regular blogpost today…
My family was on ABC World News with Diane Sawyer last night.
Seattle's been struck with an icy cold snap and the city's been at a standstill.
My husband, MIL and 5 year old were stuck in the snowy traffic for 6 hours:
This is a Mommy speaking but I think my daughter is pretty funny.
They're home now!
Aww! She is cute…hope she was able to hold it! That snow looks absolutely horrible…those hours long drives are just nightmares. Don’t send it our way!
We were hit last night but thankfully everyone got home safe…glad everything turned out okay for you all!
I’m glad everyone got home OK. A friend of our was stuck in traffic for hours, too. My hubby’s commute on 405 from Bellevue (going north) was fine, which surprised me. I’m so thankful he doesn’t work in Seattle anymore. :)

I’ll have to come back and see that, my computer is having issues…keeps getting stuck. Brad’s working on it and is in between tasks but told me not to do anything too complicated. I gathered from your comment on my blog that it had snowed…and I thought of hmmm…kinda early for a BIG snow. I forget sometimes how far north you live.
It has sucked hasn’t it! I had to go from Kirkland to Snoqualmie today and was sooo thankful that the weather warmed up and ice started melting!!
Let’s not even talk about having all my kids home due to school closures! They basically had the whole week off (which was actually kind of fun going sledding and all that!)
