Burlap Wrapped Mother’s Day Art
Burlap Wrapped Mother’s Day Art with FREE Printable
Celebrate Mom with some beautiful BURLAP art!
Supplies: 8 x 10 Artist’s Canvas and Canvas Corp 12 x 12 Burlap Sheet by Canvas Corps, available at Ben Franklin Crafts in Redmond WA, a piece of canvas cloth around 12 x 12, Glue Dots, Stickles, a few buttons, White Fabric Transfer Paper, a staple gun, an iron and this free “Happy Mother’s Day” printable by Free Pretty Things for You for Yesterday on Tuesday. And this is just a sneaky peeky– the entire Mother’s Day Party collection will be available here on Monday.
You can find the Happy Mother’s Day art sized 8 x 10 and the reverse image (for printing on transfer paper) here.
Click on “Actions,” scroll down to “View all Sizes,” then “Select Original.” Save to your computer and print.
Place the artist’s canvas right side down on top of the burlap.
Fold he burlap around the canvas, pulling it tightly and staple it.
Voila! Your canvas has been “burlapped.” Following the instructions on the fabric transfer paper, iron the reverse Happy Mother’s Day 8 x 10 image onto the fabric canvas.
Wait until it’s completely cooled off, then gently peel off the paper.
Pretty, right? Using sharp scissors, cut out the design.
Use glue dots to adhere the fabric to the burlap.
Add some Stickles (liquid glitter) on the flower petals.
It adds some sparkle.
Use Glue Dots to attach the buttons to the center of the flowers.

This is just so pretty, I love the vintage look it has, and those pots – too cute. I recently painted 3 terra cotta pots with black chalkboard paint, they turned out great, I haven’t managed to put anything in them yet!
