My Favorite Soaps are Back on Hulu

  One Life to Live

In a plot twist as good as fun as you’d find on a soap opera, Hulu is bringing two beloved soaps back to life! Fresh episodes of One Life to Live and All My Children will available on weekdays starting on April 29th– and their new home is Hulu!

All My Children

When these two best loved soaps went off the air I was crushed. And unlike a soap opera heroine… I’ve never recovered! One Life to Live and All My Children have been my constant companions since I discovered them (ahem) 27 years ago! The Lord, Buchanans and Cramer families on OLTL got me through my teen years, college, marriage, new motherhood and much more. I learned a lot about life, love and relationships (including what NOT to do) from the relatable residents of Pine Valley on AMC.

There are so many plot lines I would love to see unfold on OLTL. My dream devlopment: I’d love to see Todd and Blair fall back in love. Their relationship is very fiery! Traditionally, they are drawn together just to have an agonizing breakup. Then they find each other again…and things fall apart. But I love how they accept each other for who they are and ultimately forgive one another.

Another story line I am longing for– I’d love to see Star (Blair and Todd’s daughter) be reunited with her baby Hope who was belived to be killed in a car accident.

I am also crossing my fingers that they bring back Blair’s Aunt Dorian– the character you love to hate. She’s quite funny as well as devious and yes… lovable too.

The scoop on OLTL and AMC on Hulu:

Original cast members are back as well as a hot new group of cast members

All new episodes starting on April 29th

Each episode is a half hour long

Here’s a description of these two fabulous soaps:

One Life to Live: Follows the complicated lives of three main families: the wealthy Lords, the powerful Buchanans and the strong-willed Cramers. The quiet simplicity of small town living is often interrupted by the drama between them yet despite the struggles, strong family bonds keep them united.

All My Children: Revolves around the lives of the residents of fictional Pine Valley. For nearly forty years, this town has seen the trials and tribulations of its dynamic families. Now your favorite stories are back, and more dramatic than ever!

It’s EASY to watch them on Hulu!

  1. When I was high school age, I use to watch All my children, but stopped when I started to work. I use to love this show and I’m so happy to see that it’s coming back and it’ll be available for me to watch, when it’s convenient for me to watch it. I don’t remember the actors, but I remember how great the show was years ago.

  2. I don’t really know much about the series but I would love to get into it. I have heard character names floating around… Viki and Todd. Is that a safe bet? I don’t know. haha

  3. OMG! I have watched all the ABC soaps since I was a kid, with my mom. In college I scheduled my classes around them, and in grad school, the familiar faces kept me company in a new city. I haven’t watched since school but I catch it now and then at my mom’s house. She’ll be thrilled to hear about this (and maybe it’s time for me to get hooked again!).

  4. I would love to see Tad back and the Dixie/Tad love story contiue. As far as the new characters on AMC, I don’t know them well enough yet to care. On OLTL I am happy the Tea/Victor love story continues. No “new” love stories I want to see yet.

  5. I’m not sure about anyone falling in love, but……I would LOVE IT if they brought back Joey Buchanan (Nathan Fillion) to One Life to Live!!!!! I loved him on there!

  7. I had to give up my soaps when I got a full time job, so this would allow me to get hooked on a new one (or 2).

  8. alas, if I had Hulu I could watch and learn the characters involved. From the shows that I do watch, I enjoy a new actor walking in the door and upsetting the normal pairings. It keeps things lively

  9. On OLTL it would be great to see Destiny & Matthew fall in love this time so they could be a family.

  10. I don’t really know the characters, but there should definitely be a plot twist. That’s what soaps are all about!

  11. I really can’t answer the question because I never had the chance to watch any soaps because of work. It will be nice to see them online.

  12. I didn’t realize that One Life To Live was still on!! I have been missing it. Not sure some of these new characters.

  13. I would love this!!! So cool, I just quit my job to be a SAHM so I need to get into soaps.

  14. It has been a while since I had time to watch soaps but when I do, I want to see my favorites! Thanks, Hulu!
