Jansport Backpack Review
Sure, back to school means back to hitting the books… but it also means carrying those books with style! Of course you don’t want to send the kiddos to class with just any backpack. If you’re like me, you want to buy a quality backpack that’s going to last all school year long and look fantastic too.
When I was contacted by Staples to to review a backpack, I was thrilled. My seven-year-old had been using the same one for a couple years (NOT from Staples) and it was falling apart.
Together, my daughter and I checked out the vast array of backpacks that Staples offers. We had a tough time picking just one(!) be decided to try the Jansport Sunbreak Backpack in Zebra. The Zebra pattern is so “in” right now and the pops of pink break it up and add some fun!
Here are some of the features that appealed to me:
The Sunbreak has a very roomy front pocket.
Inside that front pocket, there is a place for pens, pencils and other small items.
The shoulder straps are nice and padded.
The inside also has a padded panel.
Here’s a side view so you can see how much it holds. For a younger student, this would fit their daily folder, lunch and jacket nicely.
As for the fabric, it seems pretty strong and durable… and wipeable! Which is important when you have young kids who (ahem) occasionally spill things. By the way, Jansport guarantees their backpacks for LIFE!
The Jansport Sunbreak Backpack also has a great price point at Staples. Regularly $45.99, it’s now on sale for $34.59. I think that this backpack is a good value for the price… plus it’s super cute! Check out the Jansport Sunbreak and all the awesome backpacks at Staples!
Happy back to school!
We’ve used Jansport Backbacks for years. They’re great. My son is a senior in high school now and the one he’s carrying has lasted 3 years. I just wash it and he’s good to go. And he’s very rough on this things.

LOVE the zebra! I had a Jansport all through high school and we picked them up for our boys this year, too! The quality and durability can’t be beat!
