Spring is here and you can see her beautiful colors everywhere. I love color and finding ways to celebrate this special season. There is one pretty cereal that really encompasses all the gorgeous shades of spring: Fruity Pebbles Cereal, which I bought at Walgreens.
Seriously… aren’t all the colors of Fruity Pebbles amazing?
I felt inspired to create a festive spring recipe using Fruity Pebbles as the main ingredient.
Ingredients for the Cake: 2 cups of crushed Fruity Pebbles, 1 package of white cake mix (and the ingredients you need for the cake mix including egg whites, oil and water). For the Frosting: 1 package of cream cheese, 1/2 cup of powdered sugar, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 6 tablespoons of milk. For the “flowers” large marshmallows, 3 per flower. Optional: Colored sugar cookies and white store bought frosting. * I used Bundt Pan sprayed with cooking spray.
Make the cake batter.
Add the crushed Fruity Pebbles. Follow package instructions to bake cake.
Isn’t this a pretty cake? While it’s cooling off, you can make your “flowers.”
Dip the marshmallows in the Fruity Pebbles, they will magically stick to the cut side! I used colored sugar cookies and white store bought frosting to make flowers BUT you could also jut mix up the bunt cake glaze and put the flowers on the cake.
Bundt Cake Glaze: Mix ingredients and add more milk if you need to make it thinner.
Add Bundt Cake glaze and adhere cookies (or flower petals).
Score Fruity Pebbles for a Steal!
Post Cereal will be on sale at Walgreens for $1.99 from March 30 thru April 5. While supplies last.
Enjoy this gorgeous Fruity Pebbles Cake.

This looks really pretty. I tried to make a fruity pebble breaded chicken. It tasted good, but wasn’t as pretty. I would love for you to share at Bacon Time linky, if you have not already.
Thanks Mindie!
