The popular move “Frozen” is still HOT! Here are some crafty ideas inspired by the film.

Frozen Craft Ideas #Frozen #Olaf

Elsa and Anna Necklace

Frozen Craft Ideas #Frozen

Materials: Darice Mini Glass Bottles, Snowflake stickers by Mrs. Grossman’s, Screw Eye Hooks from Darice, glitter, adhesive rhinestones, jump rings, needle nosed plies, “E” and “A” charms and a leather cord. All items available at Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames in Redmond.

Directions: Fill the bottle with glitter. Add snowflake stickers and rhinestones. To add the screw eye hook to cork, simply push it down into the cork. Use pliers to attach jump rings to charms, then attach to screw eye hook. Slide bottle on cord.

Olaf Art

Materials: 12 x 12 black canvas, sheet of white vinyl, googly eyes, two brown chenille stems, orange and black felt, black buttons, two sizes of letter stickers, three black buttons, not glue and adhesive lacy trim. All items available at Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames in Redmond.

Directions: On the back of the white vinyl, draw and cut out basic snowman shape. Stick on canvas. Cut out carrot nose eyebrows and mouth shapes from felt and teeth shape from vinyl. Use glue to attach shapes to make face, including googly eyes. Cut chenille stems to make arms and “head” branches. Attach with glue. Glue buttons as well, using photo as a guide. Add letter stickers. Finally, adhere lacy trim around the edge of the canvas.

Frozen Marshmallow Treats

Materials: Jumbo Marshmallows, Wax Paper, Straws in Pool Blue by American Crafts, Wilton Candy Melts in Blue, and Wilton Sprinkles in Lavender Sugar. All crafts supplies available at Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames in Redmond.

Directions: Following package instructions, melt candy melts in microwave. Dip marshmallows in candy then dip in lavender sugar. Place on wax paper to set. Next, slide straw into marshmallow to make a “holder.” Display in a Blue Mason Jar with sugar inside.

Party Invites

Frozen Craft Ideas #Frozen

Materials: Polka Dot notecards, Bright Blue Paper Doilies by SEI, plastic snowflake garland, light purple, purple and white card stock. Various sizes of round paper punches, glue and Frozen themed stickers. All items available at Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames in Redmond.

Directions: Using the photo as a guide, assemble pieces and glue to notecard.

Mason Jar Olaf

Materials: Mason Jars, Sixlet candy in Shimmer White, googly eyes, two brown chenille stems, orange and black felt, three small black pom pom, two large white pom poms and hot glue. All items available at Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames in Redmond.

Directions: Fill jars with candy and turn them upside down. Use felt, chenille stems and googly eyes to make head (attach pieces with hot glue). Add arms and buttons to mid section with hot glue. Finally, add white pom poms for feet.

Fun Gift Bags

Materials: Gift Bags, For crown bag: Light Purple cardstock, glittery cardstock, adhesive gems and scissors. For snowman: Adhesive felt, googly eyes, two brown chenille stems, orange and black felt, three small black pom poms and scissors. All items available at Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames in Redmond.

Directions for Crown Bag: Sketch the shape of a crown on the back ice of the glitter paper and cut out. Use a bowl as a template, trace on light purple card stock and cut out. Glue crown on circle and add gems. Embellish with rhinestones

Directions for Snowman Bag: Sketch snowman shape on back of adhesive felt and cut out.  Cut out shapes for mouth, nose and teeth from felt. Cut stems to make head “sticks” and arms. Glue googly eyes and face shapes on white felt. Add chenille stems and pom poms. Stick on bag.

Snowflake Ornaments

Materials: Craft Ornaments from Sierra Pacific Crafts, Beacon Glitter-It, Ultra Fine premium glitterin aqua, and extra fine glitter in amethyst. If you have small funnel, that’s helpful too. Vinyl snowflakes from Decorating Your Life and ribbon to hang. All items available at Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames in Redmond.

Directions:

1. Open ornament, swirl in Glitter-It glue and pour out the extra.

2. Using a small funnel, add glitter to ornament, place finger over opening and “roll” glitter around inside.

3. Pour out excess glitter and replace hangar.

4. Following package instructions add vinyl.

5. Using ribbon, tie a bow on for hanging.
