Chalkboard Pitcher

Recycle a unused pitcher into a beautiful chalkboard pitcher you can customize for any occasion from https://yesterdayontuesday.com

The idea to make this chalkboard pitcher has been staring me in the face every time I park my car in the garage. We all have those items around our homes that are just fine. There is nothing wrong with them. Yet they sit on the shelf or behind the cabinet door, waiting forever to be used. This southwestern style pitcher has been hanging out for a few years.

Here’s the “before.” There is absolutely nothing wrong with this pitcher. It just isn’t my style. That felt wasteful to me, to I decided to give it a makeover.

Supplies: Krylon Black Chalkboard Paint, a pitcher, a piece of card stock, scissors, and chalk.

Step 1: Clean and spray paint pitcher.

Step 2: Using a small bowl as a template, cut a circle from card stock.

Step 3: Trace the circle shape in on the pitcher with chalk.

Step 4: Decorate.

Step 5. Add flowers or greens.

I just finished one I started yesterday, was going to use an old aluminum pitcher with the same shape as yours, but decided i would save it for an outdoor project. I had a ceramic one that had such useless colors, but not any more!!! Thanks for motivating me!!! I love it, and yours too.
