“12” Glass Block

Set the scene for your Seahawks-watching celebration with some beautiful decor!

Materials: One 7.5 x 7.5 Glass Block, a Vinyl Spaceneedle, a vinyl “2,” one can of Green Tint it transparent spray, 3-4 yard of Blue Metallic Polymesh ribbon for the bow and then enough to go around the block, 3 yards of Seattle Seahawks ribbon, strand of 20 mini lights, chenille stem.  You’ll also need scissors and a hot glue gun. All craft supplies available at Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames in Redmond.

 Directions

1. Spray the glass block with the Tint It spray.

2. Add the vinyl.

3. Make the bow: Place the Seahawk ribbon on top of the Polymesh ribbon, then twist the bow into shape leaving two long ends. Tie off with the chenille stem.

4. Wrap a piece of the Polymesh ribbon around the outside of the block, glue in place at the top.

5. Put the lights in the block with the plug coming out of the backside.

6. Glue the bow in place on top.

Go Hawks Glass Cake Stand

Serve your guests in style with a customized cake plate.

 Materials: Glass Cake Plate, and Americana Gloss Enamel Paint in Blue and Green. You’ll also need paint brushes. All craft supplies available at Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames in Redmond.

Directions

1. Paint the hobnail area green. Let it dry. Repeat until the  color you desire is achieved.

2. Paint the base blue. Let it dry. Repeat until the color you desire is achieved.

Football Fan Cupcake Toppers

Make your cupcakes bowl worthy with this quick idea.

Supplies: Football themed stickers, scrapbook paper, paper punches, glue dots and toothpicks. All craft supplies available at Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames in Redmond.

Directions: Punch out circle shapes from paper. Add stickers and glue toothpicks on back. Place in cupcakes for a festive cupcake topper.

Hawks Party Photo Booth Props

Make your own halftime fun with these Hawks Party photo Props!

Materials: Navy Blue Scrapbook Paper, Glittery Silver Scrapbook Paper, Brown Scrapbook Paper, number stickers wooden sticks, glue dots and hot glue. All craft supplies available at Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames in Redmond.

Directions

1. Buy the paper and use the Die Cut Center at Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames.

2. Use the helmet die cut to make two helmet shapes, one with the blue paper and one with the silver paper. Cut the front part of the helmet from the silver paper and use glue dots to attach to the front of the blue helmet.

3. Use the Space Needle die cut to make a Space Needle shape with the silver paper.

4. Use the football die cut shape to make a football shape with the brown paper.

5. Glue the shapes to the sticks with hot glue.

Slide bottle cap on chain and enjoy!

Go Hawks Leather Bracelet

Materials: A green leather cord, large blue bead and silver beads. All craft supplies available at Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames in Redmond.

Directions: Slide silver bead on cord, then blue bead, than another silver bead. Tie ends of cord together.

Football Puffed Rice Treats

What do Hawk fans eat? Hawk Treats of course!

Materials: Rice Kristy Treats, a football shaped cookie cutter, Wilton Candy Chips in blue and white writing icing. All craft supplies available at Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames in Redmond.

Directions

1. Cut the Rice Krispy Treats in the shape of footballs.

2. Following package instructions, melt the candy.

3. Dip the Rice Krispy Treats in the chocolate and let them set.

4. Draw white lines on the top to make a football design

Go Hawks Snack Jars

Materials: Green and Blue Mason Jars, 2″ white vinyl letters. All craft supplies available at Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames in Redmond.

Diretions: Apply the letters “Go Hawks” to the jars and fill with fun food!
