Mason Jar Pineapple and Tags

Transform a plain mason jar into a fun pineapple candy jar, plus free printable tags. Perfect back to school teacher's gift.

Pineapples make me smile. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m Hawaiian and pineapples remind me of that tropical paradise or because I love to eat them! In any case, pineapples are HOT right now and with school starting up, I thought a fun teacher gift was in order.

Basic Supplies: Pint sized mason jar, Plutonium spray paint in Limon Cillo, DecoColor Oil Based Paint Pen (fine tip) in black and  faux succulent. I filled the jar up with Starburst candy but of course, you could use any type of treat.

You’ll also need a oval or circle vinyl shape. I used my old Creative Memories Custom Cutting system!  I have gotten so much use out of it over the past 15+ years. You can still find the oval shape and blades on ebay.

I love this idea! I think it would be really cute to switch out the artificial top with an air plant and use it as a planter.

Love this idea! I, too, love pineapples! I have a whole Pinterest board dedicated to them and will be pinning this idea! Also was delighted to see you using the Creative Memories Custom Cutting System. Just an FYI…CM is back in business and the custom cutting system and blades are available to purchase once again! (Consultant for 24 years~) Again, thanks for sharing such a fun idea. Love your blog!
