5 Tips for Enjoying a Stress Free Thanksgiving

5 Tips for Enjoying a Stress Free Thanksgiving: Easy ways to truly get in the spirit of thankfulness and skip the stress.

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I love spending time with my multi-generational family, including aunts and uncles, my cousins (and their twenty-something year old kids), my parents and my brother and his little ones… and of course my own husband and tweens. We are a large, loud and loving crowd! What I’m not a fan of is Thanksgiving-related tension. Here are my tips for a holiday without a “side dish of stress!” In other words– a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner

5 Tips for Enjoying a Stress Free Thanksgiving

 1. Make it Meaningful: Consider encouraging the family to jot down what they’re thankful for and read what they wrote during the meal

2. Mix it Up: It’s easy for families to get stuck in a rut. Make sure to have different people sit next to each other (not immediate family members). This will lead to more interesting conversations.

3. Respect the Past: Have everyone share what was their favorite Thanksgiving and why. Whether it’s a toddler or a grandparent– everyone will love reliving those precious memories.

 4. Go Out: That’s right– you can have a wonderful meal without spending any time in the kitchen when you make Thanksgiving reservations at Buca di Beppo. It’s so easy– all you have to do is show up hungry and Buca di Beppo will handle the rest. The other great benefit is that there won’t be any dishes to do. Score!

5. Pick up a Thanksgiving Feast Party Pan: If you want to enjoy the comfort of being at home without the hassle of making all the food, Buca di Beppo Thanksgiving Feast Party Pans (curbside pick-up available at most locations).

5 Tips for Enjoying a Stress Free Thanksgiving: Easy ways to truly get in the spirit of thankfulness and skip the stress.

Whether you nosh on a Buca di Beppo Thanksgiving Feast or choose to grab some Buca di Beppo Thanksgiving Feast Party Pans, you’ll get a delicious Thanksgiving meal. This feast includes yummy traditional Thanksgiving dinner items with a fun Italian twist. Here are some of the amazing items: Sliced white meat turkey, homestyle gravy, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, spicy Italian sausage stuffing, green beans and cranberry sauce and even pumpkin pie. Are you hungry yet– because I sure am!

And if you’d prefer Buca di Beppo’s regular menu, that’s available as well. The restaurant doors open at 11 am, so you can enjoy a delicious meal with your family and friends when it’s convenient for you.

My Thanksgiving at Buca Di Beppo would be a dream come true. I’d love for my family to be together and NOT have to worry about cooking, cleaning or baking. At my Thanksgiving dinner at Buca di Beppo, I’d invite my two sets of aunts and uncles, and my parents (they would be the elders but they are all super active). I’d also have my three cousins and their kiddos there. My cousins all had kids pretty early, so they are mostly in their twenties! My mother in law would be there, as well as my younger brother and his wife and daughters (who are still pretty little). My favorite part of the meal would be the fact that we’d all have extra time to be together and not waste on cleaning up after the meal. The only thing sweeter than the Buca di Beppo pumpkin pie would be the happy Thanksgiving memories we’d all make together!
