Wine Lover’s Gift in a Jar
Wine Lover’s Gift in a Jar
I’m psyched to join some of my favorite bloggers for a week of Gifts in Jars! Gifts in a Jars are ALWAYS the perfect choice for a presents– whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, wedding or holiday gift. Here’s an idea that would be great for any occasion.
Not only do I love a glass of wine with friends, I also love everything wine-related. And I know I’m not alone!
Supplies: That gorgeous jar I used is the from Fillmore Container. It’s the 1 Gallon Heritage Hill Jar with Glass Lid. The size of this jar makes it perfect for those larger items like the hand soap and matches. I love it’s classic style! I found the little bottles of wine at the grocery store. The hand soap, candles and mega sized matches are all from Bath and Body Works. There are all wine themed! Finally, the wine charms, wine stopper and wine bag are all from JoAnn Fabrics.
I didn’t want to have the charms and wine stopper “loose” in that nice roomy jar, so I crafted up a little sack to keep everything cute and together. All you need is some acrylic paint, masking tape and a canvas bag.
Add strips of masking tape to the bag, then remove every other strip of tape. Paint the “blank” spaces, but do it with a light touch to give it a glam look.
Remove all the tape before the paint dries.
Doesn’t that look classy? And it took just a few minutes.
It’s all in there, neat and tidy! To complete the gift, I made some printable labels and tags.
Just click on this link: Wine Lover’s Gift in a Jar Graphics and save it to your computer to print.
Any wine lover would raise a glass to this gift! You can use the label on the jar…
And the tags can be used on mini wine bottles… or any way you like.
I hope you’ll visit all the blogs who are participating in Gifts in a Jar Week!
See you tomorrow for more amazing Gifts in Jars!
