Lavender-Rose Scrub
Lavender-Rose Scrub
I think Valentine’s Day is a great time to show friends and family how much you care about them. Skip the sweets and make something sweet smelling instead! This Lavender-Rose Scrub is so quick to create and it’s sure to delight it’s recipient. This is just one of many fabulous projects for Mason Jar Monday. See them all at the bottom of this post.
To make this simple scrub, you’ll need grape seed out, rose and lavender essential oils and epsom salt. The small red jars are 3 for $3 from the Target dollar bins. They each hold 1/2 cup.
You’ll need 1 1/2 cups of espsom salt.
Mix in 6 tablespoons of grape seed oil. Add approximately 20 drops of rose essential oil and 10 drops of lavender essential oil (adjust to your liking).
Scoop into jars.
Just the perfect amount of scrub for a few amazing baths or showers.
Next, download and print the rose lid and jar labels. The rose graphic is a freebie from Angie Makes. She has all kinds of free graphics as well as other images you can buy. Just click on the link, save to your computer and print.
I used a 3″ punch for the lid labels, but you could just as easily cut them out with scissors.
Here are the labels.
Happy Valentine’s Day…
Here’s a rose for you!
