Mint Tin to Business Card Holder

Those little mint tins can be a BIG help in your purse or bag! Don’t throw them out… fix them up instead.

 It’s easy to transform a mint tin into a cute business card holder, with stuff you probably already have on hand. A personal note– walking around with bad breath is one of my top anxiety inducers. Others include getting pulled over while I’m wearing pj’s to drop my kids off at school and having a long black chin hair that I don’t know about. So I always have a tin of mints handy.

ANYWAY… back to the project. I especially like  “Myntz” mints because they’re sugar free and the tin is nice and flat, making it perfect for crafting.

Supplies for the Business Card Holder: mint tin, white spray paint, washi tape and letter stickers.

Supplies for Business Cards: cardstock and small embellishments and glue dots {there’s a link to how to make the DIY Business Cards below}.

First, spray paint the tin.

Then add some washi tape.

Finally, put stickers on top. Cool, right?

They make look slightly different then the cards in my tin, but it’s the same technique.

The mint tin measures 2 1/2″ in height and 3 3/4″ wide. The cards are 3 1/4″ in height and 1 3/4″ wide.

You can scale your cards up or down to fit the tin you’re using by using PicMonkey or via the print function on your computer.
