DIY Lavender Spa Basket
I’m going to let you in on a little secret… you can make your mom a DIY Lavender Spa Basket in just a few minutes with a handful of supplies! And the result smells dreamy… like a fresh field of lavender.
I picked up all these supplies at Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames in Redmond.
The lavender basket, faux lavender plant and purple “crinkle” that I used in the basket and the two glass jars are all from there, as are the supplies listed below.
I also used a piece of scrapbook paper, tags, stickers and twine to dress up this special gift.
Lavender Scrub Recipe
Ingredients: 1/2 cup oil (sweet almond or grape seed), 1 cup of sea salt, 5-15 drops Abbey & Sullivan Lavender Essential Oil.
Directions: 1. Put the salt in a small bowl.
2. Add the oil, mixing well with a spoon or wooden stick.
3. Add the fragrance oil
4. Scoop scrub into glass mason jar.
Lavender Bath Crystals Recipe
Ingredients: Bath Crystals, dried lavender, Abbey & Sullivan Lavender Fragrance, baker’s twine and patterned paper.
In a large bowl, mix: 3/4 cup bath crystals; 1 tbs of lavender, 5-15 drops Abbey & Sullivan Lavender Fragrance.
Combine ingredients and place in pretty glass container. Add scrapbook paper, twine and a tag for gift giving.
Scoop bath salts into small glass jar.
