Rachael Ray and Me

I’ve been keeping a secret for a more than week but now I can spill it– my kids and I got to tape a segment for the Rachael Ray Show!

Watch the Video:

Here’s a link to the Shamrock Surprises Video and here’s the backstory.

It started less than two weeks ago and it was a crazy whirlwind for a few days. The segment, about how to make my Shamrock Surprise Treats, was filmed in my kitchen by my very patient and long suffering friend. But before I could get to the kitchen… I needed some serious hair and makeup!

I arrived at Gene Juarez in Bellevue au naturale… frizzy hair all all! Luckily Mag_e or as I like to call her Maggie, used her makeup brushes and excellent artistry to make me presentable. Then it was off to see Sam for hair. She made my hair look amazing in 15 minutes. These two are my go-to gals for getting glam.

Then it was home to shoot the video.

And just like that my Shamrock Surprise Treats were on The Rachael Ray Show!

Thanks to Mag_e and Sam, my pal Brandon, and to my kids and hubby for rolling with it and being so loving and supportive!
