Hello! I am still in make-it-mode. These were such a cinch to put together… it’s a another project where I’m thinking “Why didn’t I make these before?” They are like a party for your feet!
This craft was inspired by this project from Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom:
Thank you STOACF! I can sure related to the “Scattered Thoughts” part of that great blog title.
Supplies: flip flops, tulle, rickrack, fabric flowers, scissors, a ruler, Fabri-Tac, hot glue.
Measure and cut about 30 pieces of tulle or rickrack from 5 different sources.
Make a pattern, knotting each piece and sliding it together with the other pieces.
Kids can help too.
Once you can’t add another piece, assemble some fabric flowers.
Layer and adhere together with Fabri-Tac.
Use hot glue to secure the flowers on front. Enjoy a fiesta everytime you look down.

A really good tip is to cut a circle of felt with a V cut in it for the back of your flip flop embellishment. Attach it with hot glue underneath the decoration. It will help keep it attached and feel nice on your foot.
