Stampington’s MINGLE Magazine Giveaway
Let me tell you a little story about a party, a hotflash and some sweet generosity.
I have been keeping something to myself for the past few months… mostly because I couldn't believe it! A party I threw is featured in one of the most gorgeous magazines.
I knew it was coming out in April but what I didn't expect was to see it IN PERSON last Friday at one of my FAVORITE places in the world: Ruffles and Rust Square in Snohomish, Washington.
My Mom and I were enjoying an afternoon in Snohomish– checking out the bevy of antique, clothing, vintage and junk shops (and I mean junk in the best possible way).
I saved the best for our last stop… Ruffles and Rust Square.
So my Mom I walk in and of course I am transfixed by all the beautiful displays. It really is a beautiful store and there is inspiration in every nook and cranny. In the back of the shop is a big table with magazines you can buy. I slowly made my way back there and saw IT… MINGLE!
I got a little shaky when I saw it. My little party was listed on the cover.
Then I got real hot and felt funny as I started flipping through the pages– and there it was. My Rustic Fourth of July Party. By this time, it was clear to people around me that a crazy person was having a hot a flash and maybe something more. I think I started exclaiming "My Party is in Here!"
And then this really nice, encouraging gal named Laura (who works at R & R) took my picture with the magazine:
She was so kind. Then the creative genius who OWNS Ruffles and Rust, Timi Weathers, said, "Take it! You should have that magazine." And she gave it to me, just like that.
It was one of the nicest, most unexpected things that's ever happened to me.

It only comes out twice a year. It's technically a magazine but it's more like a big thick book of inspiration.

My next party will be to welcome my parents as they move from Maine to SC where I live. I can’t wait for them to settle in. I’ll be doing a pool party as Spring will be well settled in by the time we get them moved. Have an beauty-filled day!
