Conversation Heart Cupcakes
Ingredients For Cupcakes:
Box of white cake mix and ingredients (3 egg whites, vegetable oil and water). Food coloring, Cupcake Pan and Liners.
Ingredients for Buttercream Frosting:
2 cups confectioners sugar, sifted
1/2 cup unsalted butter at room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons milk
Food Coloring
Conversation Hearts
Combine the white cake mix ingredients. Using the conversation hearts as your color guides, divide the batter into six bowls, and use food coloring to try and match the colors of your conversation hearts.
Pour the batter into the liners, using 3 different colors in each.
Follow directions on package to bake.
Use a mixer or hand blender to combine frosting ingredients.
Color the frosting (I went with yellow) and frost the cupcakes. Add a few conversation hearts on top.
