St. Pat’s Lovely Lassie Headbands

 

We’re all a wee bit Irish when it comes to St. Patty’s Day! So some leprechauns and I got together to celebrate the holiday by makeing headbands for the lovely lassies in my life.

Supplies: plastic headband, ribbon(s), adhesive foam shamrock shapes (Michael’s), cereal box cardboard, punches (I used a large and small shapes), green cardstock, bling, glue dots and hot glue.

Wrap the ribbon around the headband, adding a dab of hot glue on to attach the ribbon to the headband.

Pull it tight each time.

Here’s what the headband looks like after it’s totally wrapped in ribbon.

Punch a large shape out of cardstock and cardboard. Stick together with glue dots.

Use hot glue to attach it to the headband.

Stick a large shamrock on the large shape.

Use a glue dot to attach a smaller paper shape on top.

Optional: Cut two small pieces of ribbon and attach with glue dot.

Add small shamrock on top.

For the finishing touch– add some bling!
