Comics Mason Jar Vase Teacher Gift

Make your kid’s teacher smile with this easy Comics Mason Jar Vase Teacher Gift! It’s a fun way to celebrate the end of the school year. Everyone of a certain age {ahem} loves newspaper comics. Growing up, I eagerly awaited Sunday morning. That’s when we’d get a huge newspaper delivered, including my favorite section, the comics, of course.

The colors of the comic strips are perfect for decorating a mason jar, transforming it into a vase.

Supplies: The Sunday comics, a quart size smooth side mason jar, Decor-page, ribbon and twine, scissors, a paper plate and flowers.

Step 1: Cut out the comics that catch your eye.

Step 2: Apply Decou-Page to the back of the comics strips.

3. Gently add them to the jar (newspaper paper tears easily).

4. Add another coat on top.

5. Add the flowers and a box.

6. And the tag.
