My mom canned whole tomatoes and stewed tomatoes when I was growing up. Other than it being the hottest days of the summer with no air conditioning I remember that it went pretty fast. So… my goal is to can organic tomatoes at the end of the summer this year. I said it here… so maybe now I will accomplish it. Feel free to check up on me in September. ;)

Brand new subscriber (in fact I still have to click on the E-mail you sent). I just started canning last year and I love it. I know there is so much more I can do but I don’t know where to start. This would help me a great deal!

I want to can fruits and also vegetables. I used to help my mother and grandmothers when they canned. My grandmother also canned meats. I feel I would get a lot of use from this book and probably have to get one for my son, also. Blessings
