When you care enough to send the very best (via email)

I am a major paper junkie.  There's a special anticipation when you receive a card in the mail or when you send one to a friend.  To me, they are mini works of art.  I've discovered that there are lovely ways to send sentiments via email that are almost as wonderful as snail mail.

Paperless post
First Up:  Paperless Post.  They are are online stationer offering gorgeous choices for invitations, announcements and cards.  There's no cost to join and when you do, you receive 25 free "stamps."  That lets you send out 25 of your custom creations (you choose from their designs) and and your own text.  If you want to send out more, there are additional fees based on the number.  For example, to buy another 20 stamps, the cost is $4.00.

You can also track your mailings and see who has opened them and rsvp'd.

Animated e-cards from Jacquie Lawson are delightful.  There are beautiful designs for any and every occasion including many geared towards children.  They also offer darling invitations.  You pay to join for an amount of time (for example, the fee for one year is $12) and you can send out unlimited greetings for that time.

Another site full of style offering seasonal greetings is kate spade.  Click on "Behind the Curtain," you'll see lots of fun things including free stylish e-cards.

Have a fabulous weekend!
