Make It Monday: Kid’s Eye View Craft Project
This little project can be a big help when you need a distraction for the kiddos at the grocery store, in the car, on a walk or anywhere.
What to Gather:
- 6-8 pieces of different solid colored cardstock scraps or construction paper
- a shape punch (I went with square, but anything large enough for kids to see through would work)
- a hole punch
- a jump ring, ribbon or twine
Fast + Easy Directions: Trim your papers to a size comfortable for a child to hold. Mine are 3 x 5. Use your punch to make a shape. In the top left hand corner, punch a hole. Add the jump ring and paper and you're done.
What are you going to do with this thing? Tuck it in your purse and when you hear "I'm bored" hand it to your munchkins and ask them to look through the cards and find things that match, complement or clash with the colors. Here are some examples from our yard.
Here's to driving your kids to distraction!
Make It Mondays will be a regular series designed to give you inspiration for quick + easy craft projects. Stop by tomorrow for Thrifty Tuesday where I'll be sharing some of my favorite thrift store finds.
