Thrifty Finds Tuesday: Fabric + Fun + A Giveaway
Over the weekend, my friend Meredith and I went to the Purge Party Fabric Sale in Seattle. I got that wild + crazy feeling there, my head was spinning with fun project ideas for all the goodies we saw. But Meredith talked me down (good tip– bring a level headed pal to these kinds of events).
Here's what I picked up:

- 4 "Sweets" Adhesive Patches (donuts + candy) imported from Japan
- Ivory Flower Ribbon imported from Japan
- 3 yards of vintage bias seam tape in "Nile 56"
- 3 yards of vintage iron on seam binding in "Yellow 79"
- Two little mint green macaroon buttons imported from Japan
- A sweet little floral lined basket for notions, candy, anything!

Button, button, who’s got the button? Me! I love my button stash!
The fabric you picked up looks even more gorgeous with your excellent photography!!
Love it, Malia! Thanks for all the creative ideas; can’t wait to play with my own vintage notions!
Hopped over from the blog frog – great giveaway, count me in :)
Hey Mal~ Love the felt and buttons. I could see an afternoon at LM’s die-cut machine for some fun summer projects!
Friends & family that craft together stay together……..I love walking into a store and being overwhelmed with creative ideas. And yes you do sometimes need a good friend to talk you down. Liv and I love the site!
Thanks for the email – this is such a sweet giveaway! Cute site. I’m off to look at more posts :)
Always impressive to see what you find…you’ve got a good eye, Mal! As your daughter said, “my mom’s got style!” I agree.
I can’t believe that felt was only five bucks and those buttons are wonderful. I love vintage buttons too. Wish we had someplace like that to explore by us.
Oh man, did I just make it in under the wire?! LOL. LOVE your buttons. I’m a sucker for vintage buttons too and can often be found trolling eBay for a nice fat lot. :)
Ahhhh…. felt and buttons on the same trip ..awesome..so jealous !!! Great call taking leveled headed friend..we can all use someone like that…
I am adding your site to my list to follow..thanks for sharing…
