Valentine Heart Sachets

Valentine Heart Sachets - Yesterday on Tuesday #valentinesday #valentinecrafts
Here’s a cute Valentine’s treat WITH a secret ingredient but WITHOUT the calories…

Felt Sweet Heart Sachets! My daughter and I had so much fun putting these together.

Valentine Heart Sachets - Yesterday on Tuesday #valentinesday #valentinecrafts

Supplies: Felt from the craft store in “Sweet Heart” candy shades, StazOn ink in blazing red, disappearing ink pen (sewing store), heart cookie cutter, small rubber stamps, sharp scissors, FabriTac other fabric glue (and a sewing machine with red thread IF you like) and last but not least… Swiffer Sweeper cloths in Lavender-Vanilla.

Trace the OUTSIDE of the cookie cutter and cut out– 2x for each heart

And trace the INSIDE of the cookie cutter for the middle of the heart. To make the cutting easier, use the smooth side of the Swiffer cloth.

Sandwich the Swiffer cloth between the felt.

We used read thread to stitch around the outside, but FabriTac or other fabric glue would work too.

Next, stamp some classic Sweet Heart candy-ish sentiments on white fabric. We used some upcylced white demin jeans!

Adhere sentiments to hearts with FabricTac… just a dab in the middle works

These fun little sachets would be perfect to tuck into trunks or dresser drawers… or give as gifts.

These are adorably cute! I love how they look in a jar. I didn’t know that Swiffer made scented items. I’ll have to look for those!

These are so cute! I love them. I have some spare lavender too, so I could add them and make them smell yummy! I don’t have any denim, but I’m thinking twill tape would work.
