Dear Abby’s Famous Pecan Pie Recipe

My Mom made this delicious pie for Thanksgiving. I was surprised to learn how easy this yummy recipe was to make. 

Pecan Pie

Ingredients:

 9 inch unbaked pie crust

 1 c light corn syrup

 1 c packed brown sugar

 3 eggs slightly beaten

 1/3 C melted butter

 ½ tsp salt

 1 tsp vanilla

 1 heaping c pecan halves

Directions 

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees

2. In a large bowl, combine corn syrup, sugar, eggs butter, salt and vanilla and mix very well. Pour the mixture into an unbaked pie crust. Sprinkle pecan halves on top.

3. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until the center is set.
