Candy Corn Popcorn Box & Giveaway

I’m really excited to participate in this Popcorn Box Halloween Themed Blogger party, organized by Laura Kelly!

Here are the fun items we received in the mail. Our only assignment was to create something. Inspired by my love of candy corn, I chose to transform the popcorn box into a candy corn gift. I grabbed some white acrylic paint, googly eyes and some extra white felt.

Then I filled a mason jar with candy corn.

I also plugged in my glue gun!

First I gave the box a few coats of white paint.

Then I flipped it inside down.

Then I cut the felt into strips.

Next I cut a triangle out the white felt and glued it on the box. Then I added googly eyes and the colored strips of felt.

I used some of the tape from scotch to jazz up the lid.

Here’s the jar with some art from Laura Kelly!

Finally, I traced the shape of the popcorn box onto an extra piece of white felt (x3) and used them to cover the other sides of the box.

Put the candy jar under the popcorn box and… Surprise!

It’s a sweet gift idea!
