5 Supplies or Less: Mini Chalkboard Placecards

Like many of you, my kids are going back to school this week. I started off the summer wondering how I was going to be a good Mom, work, blog and get all the household stuff with the kids home. Now I am gaining an extra seven hours a day to get all of "that stuff" done… and I am sad about it!

Mini Chalkboard Placecards - Yesterday on Tuesday

Speaking of school, these simple placecards would be cute for a back to school party or a kid's art party.
Mini Chalkboard Placecards Supplies - Yesterday on Tuesday
Supplies: The mini canvases and easels are readily available at craft stores. I found mine in the clearence bin at JoAnn's for 97 cents apiece! You also need chalkboard paint and chalk ink or chalk.
Mini Chalkboard Placecards - Chalkboard
Paint the canvases with chalkboard paint. It might take 4-5 coats.
Mini Chalkboard Placecards Maty + Steve - Yesterday on Tuesday
Write the kid's names with chalkboard ink or chalk.
Finished Mini Chalkboard Placecards - Yesterday on Tuesday
That's it… you're done! I hope you and your families have a smooth transition back to the classroom.

Are these reusable if you use it with chalk instead of chalk ink?
