Easter Peeps Cupcakes
Peeps marshmallow candy is festive and fun. These days, there are Peeps available for every holiday, including Easter (and the week before Easter, you can score some Peeps for “cheep”)! Grab some simple supplies and assistant bakers (kids) and you can whip up these cute cupcakes faster than Peter Rabbit can hop home.
Ingredients: Chocolate Cake Mix, Vanilla Frosting, green food coloring, green sprinkles, semi-sweet chocolate (4 squares), rabbit Peeps, cookie sticks
“Hop With Me” printable flags. Get them here. Small wooden skewers.
Make the cupcakes.
Melt the choclate (microwave at one minute intervals and stir until melted).
Dip the bunnies in chocolate and then sprinkles. Place on parchment paper and put in fridge.
Print and cut out “Hop With Me” flags, secure with tape and place on wooden skewers.
Tint frosting “grass green” and frost cupcakes.
Sprinkle the cupcakes with green sprinkles. Pop a stick in the bunny and then put in cucpake with flag.
This post features vintage YoT content.
Have fun making Peeps cupcakes with your “peeps”!
