Here’s a typical day: Up at five am to work. Make three lunches, unload the dishwasher and double check homework by six. Wake kids up, feed them (and the dog) breakfast and throw a load of laundry in by seven. Jump in the shower by eight. Shower, dry hair, get dressed, apply makeup, confirm that everyone has brushed THEIR hair and teeth, and drop kids off at school by nine.
Then the day “begins.” Yes, being a woman these days means being BUSY. We are raising our families, taking care of our homes, trying to thrive at work and oh yeah… attempting to find time to exercise and RELAX. So who has time to read food labels when we barely have time to do things we absolutely have to do?
Well I think I have found something that fits into my crazy life… and into my family’s hectic schedules– that we can all feel great about. You know and trust the name “Newtons.” It means yummy cookies! Well there is a new deliciously unique cookie from Newtons. I recently had the opportunity to review two flavors of it: Fruit Thins Banana Drizzled with Dark Fudge and Fruit Thins Coconut Drizzled with Dark Fudge. They are my two new best friends!
Here are a few reasons why I am a big fan of these cookies:
– Whole grains, real fruit, dark fudge
-8g of whole grains per 31g serving
And we haven’t even gotten to the way these cookies taste! Fruit Thins Banana Drizzled with Dark Fudge have a light yet satisfying quality with hints of banana and fudge.
And Fruit Thins Coconut Drizzled with Dark Fudge have the scrumptious flavor of toasted coconut and fudge. They are crispy and quite tasty.
These are cookies you could put in your kids’ lunch boxes and feel good about. Heck these are cookies you could treat yourself to and feel good about. With only 150 calories in a serving (there are three cookies in a serving) they fit into a healthy lifestyle.
I am thrilled to incorporate Newtons Fruit Thins into my life and my family’s lives too!

Absolutely beautifully written post, Malia! The Newtons fruit thins sound delicious too!
I go to look for the fig Newton thins and come home with the old Newtons, I don’t know it must be the amount of fruit.
